Kieton Saunders-Browne

Kieton is a recent graduate of the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts (LAMDA) 3-Year BA Acting. Before that he graduated with a Foundation in Acting at the Young Actors Theatre Islington. He has written four full-length plays that have had runs at venues like the King’s Head Theatre, Pleasance London and Camden People’s Theatre. He has also produced other plays under Wooden Arrow at venues like The Blue Elephant Theatre. His latest play, Block’d Off was awarded the Generate Fund by the Pleasance and had a month run in Edinburgh 2022, which transferred to London. All of these were produced under the production company that he founded in 2016, Wooden Arrow. He was apart of the 2019 WoLab Actor-Writer cohort who’s showcases ran at the Bunker Theatre and Lion and Unicorn Theatre. Other credits as an actor include Frantic Assembly’s UK Tour of Anna Jordan’s The Unreturning, Give Me Your Skin (BAC/CPT), Machinal at the Orange Tree Theatre, R&D of Why Am I So Single by Lucy Moss and Toby Marlow, and was the Lead in the Feature Film - Yes-Man (Daniel Glenn-Barbour). He specialises in combat performance with multiple weapon qualifications and has just completed Wire & Ariel Stunt Course with IDFight. Kieton has participated in several groups such as the Young Vic’s Intro to Directing, is currently on the Almeida’s Youth Advisory Board, was a Royal Court Agitator, and acted in the Young Companies of Theatre Royal Stratford East, Lyric Hammersmith, and more. He has also worked with the NYT on their Intake Courses and was in the first cohort of their Creative Leaders programme.

Alice Eve

Producer at Wooden Arrow

Alice Eve is a producer with a focus on participation and artist development. Beyond her work with Wooden Arrow she is has experience developing and producing new work; In 2023, The Sex Ed Musical (Ice & Fire, R&D, National Tour), Fisheye (co-produced and written by Sam Pout), and AI Festival (Omnibus). She has experience supporting theatre makers and programmes with disabled-led organisations (most recently NPO Vital Xposure), and social enterprises who can champion marginalised communities including people of the global majority and LGBTQIA+ artists (Humblebee Creative, The Black History School). She is a guest lecturer at The University of Warwick and The Royal Central School of Speech and Drama and sits on the Almeida Theatre’s Youth Advisory Board. She is currently the Learning and Participation Lead at Omnibus Theatre, and previously she was part of the team at Plosive - a live comedy production company and the team behind multi-award winning podcast ‘Off Menu with Ed Gamble and James Acaster’.

Julia Salkin

Julia Salkin is a creative producer based between London and New York City. She has a varied background in the theatre sector — with experience in ticketing operations, social media, and marketing in addition to her work as a producer. She is a graduate of New York University, where she studied media and entertainment business, and is currently pursuing an MA in Creative Producing at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama.


Script Readers

Anthony Fletcher

Anthony has been a Script Reader for The Scratch since the first event in 2020.

Anthony originally hails from Lancashire in the North-West of England. Growing up, he was afforded the opportunity to work with local, community-led, amateur dramatic societies; namely The Fylde Coast Players and The Centenary Players. After his appearance as Bert in 'The Railway Children' at the Lowther Pavilion Theatre, he was awarded by the National Dramatic and Operatic Association (NODA) for both 'Best Youth in an Amateur Production' and 'Best Newcomer in an Amateur Production'. Soon after, he gained membership to the National Youth Theatre of Great Britain and subsequently went on to complete his Foundation in Acting at Young Actors Theatre Islington. Anthony has found recent success after being cast by pre-eminent, Northern Irish film-maker Gavin Irvine for his upcoming feature film 'Little Dipper or Bust', currently set for release in 2025. He is also an active attendee of Lance Nielsen's Outcasts Creative.

Ibraheem Hussain

This is Ibraheem’s first year as a Script Reader for The Scratch.

IBRAHEEM is recent graduate of LAMDA, 3 Years BA Acting. He just made his professional stage debut, playing role of 'Mohsen' in BROWN BOYS SWIM at the Soho Theatre. He will also be featuring in Apple series SURFACE. He is the recipient of both the David Garrick Scholarship and John & Amelia Winter Scholarship 2022.

During his final year he also was a member of the Lyric Hammersmith Young Writers Programme where he continued to develop his abilities as a writer.
